Four Methods to Treat Palm Sweating

Palmar hyperhidrosis is the medical term used for palm sweating. Some people suffer with calmy palms that just make them socially uncomfortable. Black tea is discussed in the treatment of feet sweating but it works the same way for treating palm sweating. Put 5 black tea bags in 2 quarters of water. Boil it and let it cool. Soak your hands in the solution for 30 minutes a day until the problem goes away. If the black tea does not help, soak your hands in warm water with Epson salt.

Another method of treating palm sweating is the Iontophoresis device. Two buckets are filled with either water or water and a solution that shrinks the pours. These two buckets are attached to an electrical box. When the box is turned on, a small electrical current forces the liquid into the skin preventing the sweat glands from producing liquid. This process needs to be done seven times within a months time span. When finished be sure to dry your feet completely so that fungus does not start to grow.

Try changing your diet to avoid processed foods. Most of them contain sugar of some sort and this is a cause of excessive sweating. Avoid alcohol and tobacco as they can increase sweating. Drink 64 ounces of water a day. This will help flush toxins out of your body and therefore will reduce sweating.

Some people take oral medication to reduce the palm sweating. This typically is well tolerated however it can produce side effects in those you use it. Ask you doctor for a specific recommendation.
